Concerts at the Crane: Fellswater ~ Celtic Music Ensemble

Sunday, October 223:00—4:00 PMRichardson BuildingMain Library40 Washington Street, Quincy, MA, 02169

Join us for a Sunday afternoon concert in the beautiful historic Richardson Building featuring the traditional Celtic sounds of Fellswater.

Fellswater is a dynamic 7-piece Celtic music ensemble based out of Boston playing a wide range of music from traditional to modern compositions, drawing from the music of Scotland, Ireland, Galicia, Canada and beyond. Fellswater has delighted audiences at the New Hampshire Highland Games, Blackstone River Theatre, Boston Celtic Music Fest, The Burren Backroom Series, Club Passim and Colonial Williamsburg. The band was featured at the 2015 Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo, playing for 8,000 nightly. Fellswater performed in the world renowned Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and also gave two concerts in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2018. Fellswater collaborated with the renowned Metropolitan Chorale for their Celtic Crossroads concert at JFK Library in Boston on March 18, 2023.

The Richardson Building seats a maximum of 100 and on some occasions we do have to turn people away when that capacity is reached. We recommend planning ahead and leaving time for parking, which can be tricky in Quincy Center. On Sundays, if the Library parking lot is full, there is overflow parking available in front of the Coddington Building, across the street from the Library on Coddington Street. Doors open 15 minutes before the start of the performance.  If you'd prefer to watch from home, the event will also be LIVESTREAMED to our YouTube channel and recorded and aired at a later date on QATV.

Generously sponsored by the Friends of the Thomas Crane Public Library.
