Estuary Expedition: Walk, Talk, & Explore the Neponset Estuary!

Saturday, June 112:30—1:30 PMNeponset Estuary

NepRWA staff, in partnership with the Thomas Crane Public Library, will lead a public tour of the Neponset Estuary in Quincy. This is an off-site event located at the Billings Creek Salt Marsh Trail in the Neponset Estuary.

The tour involves a .5-mile round trip walk along Billings Creek, with an optional 1-mile additional walk along the Riverwalk near Boston Scientific.

Attendees can park at the trailhead at Billings Creek Salt Marsh Trail. This is a sunny location so a hat and sunscreen are recommended!

In addition to experiencing views of the salt marsh and sea birds, you’ll learn about NepRWA’s work on how best to prepare for sea level rise and other impacts of climate change. Learn about NepRWA’s Salt Marsh Project here.

Ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
