ExPLORE (Experiment, Play, Learn, Observe, Read, Examine) is a series of monthly hands-on science workshops for children ages 8-12, covering a wide variety of topics.

Meeting at the North Quincy Branch Library on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 3-4 pm each workshop has a short portion of instruction and then exploration and experimentation. Topics range from forensic science to bubbles and parents/caregivers are welcome to participate as well alongside their children.

Join us at the North Quincy Library on Wednesday, February 19th at 3:00 pm for Circuits. Get hands-on with circuitry! Learn about how an electrical circuit works, then build your own using Snap Circuits. Start simple by making a lightbulb turn on, then get fancy with more lights, sounds, and moving parts.

This program is made possible by the generous sponsorship of the Friends of the Thomas Crane Public Library. Click here to find out more about their work and how you can get involved.
