Dr. Joe Alberti and Genoa Davidson will be performing the first act of their play, based on the letters of John and Abigail Adams. In addition to writing the play, they have spent the past two years researching and recreating the dialect of the Massachusetts Bay Area at the time of the Revolutionary War. They have just accepted a book contract for this work, and part of the evening will feature their research and process of reconstructing a dialect before the advent of audio recording.
