Tammy Donroe Inman, award-winning author of New England Desserts: Classic and Creative Recipes for All Seasons, will discuss her favorite desserts that originated in Massachusetts, the stories behind them, and the pleasures of seasonal baking. Enjoy this cozy discussion, learn some new recipes, and take home some yummy samples!
Tammy Donroe Inman is a trained chef, cooking instructor, and award-winning author and photographer of New England Desserts: Classic and Creative Recipes for All Seasons. She sharpened her knives testing recipes for Cook's Illustrated magazine and the TV show America's Test Kitchen. A former editor for Boston magazine, she’s also written for Fine Cooking, Yankee, and The Boston Globe. Her first cookbook, Wintersweet: Seasonal Desserts to Warm the Home, received rave reviews from The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Publisher’s Weekly. She lives outside Boston with her family, two high-maintenance cats, and a pair of well-worn roller skates. She’s currently at work on her third cookbook.
