Want help signing up for Libby? Got a new Kindle and don't know how to use it? Want to organize your photos more effectively? Having trouble organizing your email? Come to the North Quincy branch of the Thomas Crane Public Library at 381 Hancock St. for one-on-one tech help. Bring your personal device(s) and your specific questions and sit down with one of our librarians in the Community Meeting Room. Each session is 20 minutes long and is limited to 2 devices per session. Patrons may sign up for no more than one session per day.

Acceptable topics include, but are not limited to:

• Smart phones/tablets (ios & android)
• Laptops (mac & PC)
• Basic internet searching
• Internet safety & privacy
• Password help
• Email basics
• Digital library resources (hoopla, Libby, etc.)
• Library databases
• Social media websites & apps
• Microsoft office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Photos, etc.)

We cannot assist with:

• Fixing/Restoring/Repairing a broken or infected device, app, or email account
• Entering sensitive information for you (e.g. credit card information, social security number, online banking, etc.)
• Keyboarding, typing, or proofreading documents
• Medical, legal, and business advice or opinions
