Children in grades 5 through 8 are invited to join us to discuss a new theme or genre each month. Children choose their own books from a list of suggestions or they can suggest their own choices to Miss Amanda. Each month children will meet and share their thoughts on the book they read and the theme or genre.

December's Theme: Graphic Novels. Take a look through our graphic novel collection. You could pick part of a series, like Bone. You could pick a single story, like Long Distance. We have graphic novel versions of text novels, like the Percy Jackson books or Coraline. We have manga and even nonfiction. So long as it's in graphic novel format, grab it, read it and come talk about it in December.
