Thursday, August 86:00—8:00 PMThe CraniumMakerspace40 Washington Street, Thomas Crane Public Library, Quincy, MA, 02169-4503

Join us in The Cranium for a workshop with artist Liliana Marquez. We will discuss sustainable art, and use recycled materials to create home décor like a picture frame or cell phone holder. Recycled materials include samples discarded from home design companies, such as tile, fabric, and glass.

About the artist: A graduate of the prestigious Caracas Institute of Design, Liliana holds a BA in Art and Graphic Design. Her philosophy of art centers on the innovative use of reclaimed and surplus materials, which she has coined "RE POP ART." She passionately transforms discarded materials into dynamic 3D artworks, home décor, and furniture, infusing her creations with messages of life, hope, and positive energy. Liliana finds immense satisfaction in repurposing waste into art and cherishes the joy her work brings to others.

This workshop is designed for ages 13+
