The History & Evolution of the Symphony Orchestra (In-Person)

Jin Kim, Music Director of Atlantic Symphony Orchestra (ASO) will be present a lively lecture on the history and evolution of the symphony orchestra. Along the way, Mr. Kim will explain some of the common questions by the audiences including the role of a conductor, various instruments in the orchestra, and reasons behind common concert etiquette. A member of the ASO will also join Mr. Kim in performing musical excerpts during this event.
